Join the DETAC along with the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD), the Center for Leadership in Disability at Georgia State University, and the Washington Initiative for Supported Employment to learn about resources and tips for a focused approach to building and implementing DEI to promote cultural humility and responsiveness. As grantees, supporting people from marginalized and underserved populations can be challenging when not having the right tools, especially when resources are scarce. Yet, there is a high need for cultural awareness and support when providing employment planning services. This webinar will help participants understand how to apply the resources shared and will further guide audience members to think through next steps in implementing some of the strategies presented.

Join the National Office Grant Development team to explore the U.S. Department of Labor’s Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program (HVRP), a federal grant opportunity intended to address two objectives: (1) to provide services to assist in reintegrating homeless veterans into meaningful employment within the labor force and (2) to stimulate the development of effective service delivery systems that will address the complex problems facing homeless veterans. We have a number of affiliates who have in the past and/or presently manage successful HVRP programs which leverage key Easterseals capacities and create new opportunities for additional programs, partners, and service growth. This discussion will also detail how to apply to this specific program, from federal registrations to Grants.gov navigation to application development and completion. The 2022 funding opportunity closed on March 2, 2022 (FOA-VETS-22-01).
